The core objective of the festival is to create a confluence of traditional and contemporary elements. More than 2 lakh people attend the 5-day Durga Puja festival, which offers religious programs, ‘Maha-Bhog’, scintillating cultural programs and lot of other elements of celebration. The NMBA durga puja is held every year at Sector 1A, NSCB ground near Vashi MGM.
Vashi Cultural Association boasts of having one of the most happening Durga Puja’s in Navi Mumbai upholding Traditional Bengali Art & Culture, supporting Local Artists & Artisans, showcasing Original Skills of the Bengali culture, aiding the cause of Socially Backward people & creating a platform for upcoming cultural artists.
